No time for Self-Care? Try one of our 60 minute or less suggestions.

We enter the new year with ambitious goals and ideas which often involve taking greater care of ourselves throughout the year ahead. It becomes all too common that as the holiday season comes to an end and we return to our jobs and duties, we fall into the same age old pattern of letting our own self care come last, if it comes anywhere at all.

When this happens, finding time in our day or week to engage with some sort of self-care can seem almost over indulgent. It is not over indulgent at all, but rather so vital that we actually take some time (even if it is only 5 minutes) to look after ourselves. Love yourself enough to check in with yourself just like you would for a loved one.

The challenge for most of us in our busy lives, is finding time to actually look after ourselves. So use the list of ideas for relaxing the mind and body in less than an hour to help you implement more frequent self-care into your busy life.


5 minutes- cuddle with a pet 10 minutes- breath work 15 minutes- meditation 20 minutes- journal 25 minutes- sauna session 30 minutes- walk in nature 35 minutes- read a book 40 minutes-epsom salt bath 45 minutes- yoga class 50 minutes- listen to your favourite playlist or podcast 55 minutes- watch your favourite show 60 minutes- massage


Remember, we cannot pour from an empty cup!
